The Cathedrale Notre Dame de Paris is a Roman Catholic cathedral and one of the best examples of French Architecture. On the same location where today stands the cathedral, there was a Roman temple dedicated to Jupiter. Prior to the cathedral and after the temple, on the same location, there was located a Christian Basilica and a Romanesque church.
