5yuan to enter the temple, 5 yuan to the pagoda. Jiming Temple was founded in 300 AD during the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Since then it has been destroyed and reconstructed several times. It was last destroyed by fire in 1973 and restored again in 1981. It is now one of Nanjing’s most active temples.

Established in 1923, St. Paul’s Church is the first official Christian church in Nanjing. The church’s design is meant to imitate the style of European churches in rural areas. It is gothic architecture with exquisite decoration. The inner structure reflects traditional Chinese style.
