Grocery Stores in Nanjing

Nanjing is a large city, so there is no shortage of large grocery stores. That being said, it would still be useful to know which ones are better than others and where to find those elusive, yet essential products. Imported products are more readily available every year, but there is still quite a few items that require some searching. For example, in Nanjing it is easy to find salsa, but not the tortilla chips that must compliment the salsa!
If you are looking for foreign groceries, there are two basic options: go to one of the small local stores which have higher prices or travel farther to one of the larger stores with cheaper prices. Below is information on some stores which sell a superior selection of groceries.
