This underground bar offers two pool tables, a stage for live music (on occasion), plenty of area to sit, a dance floor that gets busy on Friday and Saturday, and rotating DJs that spin different kinds of music throughout the week. Cocktails are cheap but could stand to be a bit stronger. Also, beware of the smell on the way in. Overall, good times can be had at the Speakeasy, especially if lots of alcohol is in the mix.  How to Get There: The Speakeasy is located on Dongfeng Xi Lu under an internet cafe, down the road south of where Jianshi Lu and Wenlin Jie intersect. Jianshi Lu becomes Dongfeng Xi Lu at that point. Feb 09, 2010 — GuestI did a summer abroad via UC Davis July 2008. Before finding Kundu, this place was a staple for our group Thursday-Saturday. It is pretty quiet and relaxing on the weeknights but when the weekends arrive expect drinking contests (I won one lol) and lots of dancing. The music wasn't to great but nothing a few mind-erasers couldn't fix. There are alot of westerners that go here too. I believe the owners are also Westerners. Get to know the DJ and bartenders and you will have a good time.
