The Green Lake Hotel is arguably the nicest hotel in Kunming. It is a 5 star hotel that offers all of the amenities one expects of a 5 star. It also happens to be one of the most affordable 5 star hotels in China with rooms starting at around 1000 RMB per night. The hotel is beautiful, located next to the nicest park in Kunming and is about a 10 or 15 minute walk from Yunnan University.
Directions: If you can afford to stay here, you will almost certainly be arriving via taxi or car service. If you are taking a taxi, tell the driver "Cui Hu," and as the driver is circumnavigating the lake you can’t miss it.
