I hired Julia for a couple of days when I was on a business trip in Guangzhou. Julia was very punctual, friendly and open-minded. She did a great job as well as a translator, as well as a tour guide. Although she wasn't familiar with the subject and the technical terms she could translate and help me negotiate to my satisfaction. She was professional, patient and discrete. Once the business was over Julia had no problem of being a tour guide and give an insight of the chinese people with their habits and traditions.

In those two days, business combined with sightseeing, she showed me a perfect mix between old and new Guangzhou. She was up to date, knew everything about new developments and could tell you everything about the history of the region. She showed me small ancient streets, the best souvenir shops, the best local kantonese cuisine,....

In short : Julia made me feel at home in this amazing city.

Thank you Julia

It has been a real pleasure to meet Julia and to profit from her assistance. She is very quick and absolutely competent and, last but not least, reliable. I requested some unusual assistance tasks which she brilliantly managed, such as driving out to the countryside to see a place she herself has never been. Her assistance was not only worth every Yuan, moreover she contributed with her services to save me a lot of bucks. We could also discuss in depth a lot of things, even personal one's, to deepen my knowledge and understanding of Guangdong, Guangzhou and its people. I thought my English is very well (as for a German), but she speaks twice as fast.

Thanks to her help, after last dinner together, I was able to find my way on my own very quickly during the remaining days in GZ. Julia is a highly recommendable person.

We hired Julia for a short stay in Guangzhou in September 2012 and she made the most of our trip.  Rather than book a car for the day, we got around using taxis and the metro which she easily navigated. We were impressed by her knowledge of Guangzhou which was refreshing after getting the standard spiel from tour guides in Beijing.  She was flexible, interactive, and has a bright personality that is easy to get along with.  She felt  more like a good friend than a tour guide who advocates on your behalf to make sure you have a good visit.  We highly recommend her and will use her again.
