It’s as if the soul of Chinese literature itself was breathing throughout the park, with natural springs as its gills. The park was the former home compound of Song Dynasty poetess Li Qing Zhao. The park contains a full museum devoted to her life and work, with placards in English and Chinese, and wax figures illustrating her childhood, marriage, and later years. In addition to the poetry and history of Li Qing Zhao, the park is full of courtyards that guide you in and out of one another. Each one is devoted to a natural Chinese icon such as bamboo, plum, peach, crabtree, persimmon, or even the springs themselves. Therefore every courtyard inspires a different feeling, one that was carefully engineered by initiated feng shui masters!
Baotu Spring Park is located across the street from Quan Cheng Square (泉城广场) on Qingnian Xilu (青年西路), north of Luoyuan Da Jie (泺源大街) and south of Heihuquan Xilu. About | Advertise | Add Listing | Contact | Tips for Trippers | Link to Us | 公司简介 | 广告服务 | 联系我们 | 导游小贴士

Must to go place in Jinan
May 13, 2009 — ChrisI went to Bao Tu Quan too, the spring are really clean and many people around the spring and try to feel it, and i was trying to do that too, but i almost fell into the spring when my friend didn't hold me well, kinda scary, but that day was really hot, i wish i can jump into the spring and swimming inside, i am just thinking i know that`s impossible.
And i have to mention the willows on the side with the budding green leaves which make you feel how great the Spring is, no wonder it`s the best season to come here and walk around. Terrific!
Number one Spring in China!
May 11, 2009 — GuestChinese people said they have 72 famous springs in China, Bao Tu Quan is the Number one. Before i don't think so , but since i saw it real i start to change my mind.
The spring comes out all year long, never stopped, and always clean and it is self clean. No one will tell the reason even when it`s an arid season it will stopped.
Besides the spring, the place was a former home of a very famous poetess Li Qing Zhao in Song Dynasty, not many poetess in China, especially such famous like her. One of my Chinese friend tole me, when they were at school as long as it`s Li Qing Zhao`s poem, they have to memorize it. Poor students in China. :)
