About me:

Welcome to Hangzhou, the best tourist city in China.

My city is known for its natural beauty and rich cultural heritages. It is also a very romantic city connected with love stories. I feel so honored to be able to show you my hometown, Hangzhou as a tour guide. I am a professional tour guide and have guided both individuals and large groups in English and German for 7 years.

It’s my pleasure to show you the valuable history, culture, customs, traditions, sightseeing, etc. With me you will be able to experience the warmth and friendliness of Chinese people. I will promise you a wonderful experience in Hangzhou. In the past seven years I have been to many cities like Beijing, Xi’an, Guilin, Chongqing, Yangtze River, etc with some groups as a tour leader. For the cities in the Yangtze Delta, like Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Water Towns I can work as a local guide.

I’m extremely delighted to meet friends from all over the world. Come to have a look at this “Paradise City” ---Hangzhou in China. Thank you!

Hello, my name is William and I accompanied my wife to China on her most recent business trip. I had contacted Jenny prior to my leaving the US and arranged for her services. It was the smartest thing I could have done. As I found out, I wasn't actually staying in Hangzhou, as I thought, but outside the city in Lingping. Undeterred, Jenny made the daily trip to my hotel to be my guide.
I was immediately impressed with her fluency in English. When I arranged for her services I expressed my hope to make use of the local transportation as a way of familiarizing myself with the area. Jenny was excellent in this regard- we made extensive use of the subways (excellent, by the way), taxis and buses. She was always patient and thorough in answering my many questions. She has a most excellent knowledge of the history of the area which I found both entertaining and educational. She was very open to a spontaneous itinerary and proved very flexible as plans changed. She also planned a day trip to Shanghai where once again she demonstrated her facility with  local transportation and her very impressive knowledge of the history of the city.
I enjoy walking and we logged many miles by foot with Jenny being quite the trooper in this regard. She always seemed to know the perfect restaurant for wherever we happened to be that day and was very good in letting me get to know the local cuisine. She also has an excellent sense of humor, which can sometimes be hard to find when traveling abroad, but which certainly helps to deal with the occasional difficulties of touring. As I speak no Chinese, I would never have been able to enjoy my trip to China as I did with Jenny as my guide. I've seen it written in some of the other reviews, but it really is true- you feel like you were traveling with a friend. And that, is all you could ever want in a guide. Jenny would be a bargain at twice the price.
When I return to China, and I will return, she will be my first call. Jenny, thank you very much and take care.

My husband and I spent 6 days in Hangzhou and had a wonderful time. Thanks to Jenny who was a BIG help to us. Her promptness in responding to my emails prior to our trip paved way to a strong, good relationship. With my proposed itinerary, conditioned by my health (partial immobile with own wheelchair), Jenny helped draft a flexible 4-day tour (31/10-3/11). She also arranged for a round trip airport transfer at a cheaper price than hotel limousine. All these prior arrangements eased out my mind a lot.

When we actually met, she was even nicer and took great care of us as if we were her elders. We used taxis in going to places and she wouldn’t mind pushing my wheelchair around or finding modern toilets for me, or supporting me on my short walks. As a guide, she’s more than capable. Her fluent English coupled with her in-depth knowledge of history and legends made our tour even more interesting and enjoyable one. One day I felt too weak to make a long trip to Shanghai as earlier planned, she immediately cancelled the pre-paid bullet train tickets and went to the station to claim part of the refunds for us. Then she came up very quickly with the back-up tour program for that day. Very flexible indeed! Not to mention that she always put our interests and welfare first, even if she had to argue with many black taxi drivers who were trying to rip us off during rush hours (my husband could pick up some Chinese phrases).

By the end of our 4-day tour we became close friends. Her efficiency, dedication, devotion, genuine care, laughter, tolerance, and the accustomed phrase “no problem” left such a great impression on our hearts.

If you’re looking for an efficient, good-humored, caring, understanding and honest tour guide in Hangzhou, then look no further. I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend Jenny as your guide.

We spend a week in Hangzhou and three days with Jenny. She was really great, knew a lot of special places to see and helped us with everything. It was so much more interesting with her than without her! We made two daytrips with her, too, which she organised perfectly with a lot of insider information we never would have found. One day she told us beforehand that she would not be able to guide us, but send us a very nice friend of hers who helped us fantastic as well.

We can highly recommend Jenny as a guide to anybody!

Und für alle Deutschen: Sie spricht hervorragend Deutsch!
