Wuhan is situated along the edge of the Changjiang (Yangtze, 长江) River. Ferries are available to Shanghai, Chongqing and other riverside cities. There are 18 ferry routes in the city, of which there are three fast line routes. There is also a sightseeing tour on the Yangtze river. You can board the ferry at a two different ferry docks (Zhonghua road in Wuhang or WuhanGuan in Hankou). This means of transportation is pretty cheap, safe, and excellent for visitors who are interested in the natural landscape and a bit of fresh air.
Located at No. 209 Xianggang Road (香港路) is a large art and antiques market. An array of stalls and stores sell traditional Chinese folk artwork, chops, curios, Chinese paintings, calligraphy, furniture, jade and other treasures from centuries past. Both locals and travelers enjoy searching for favorites in a sea of choices.

10 RMB Changchun Taoist Temple (Changchun Guan, 长春观) is the largest and most well-preserved Taoist Temple in Wuhan. The temple consists of numerous corridors and stone staircases, entirely created from brick and wood, with grand eaves and arches suspended from the ceiling.
These vegetable bolts are a specific type of red vegetable which are grown in Hongshan District in Wuchang. It is crisp, yet tender with a refreshing flavor. A famous dish called Hongshan Bolts Fried with Smoked Pork can be found on virtually every menu in any Wuhan restaurant.

Transportation to Wuhan by bus is fairly convenient. New expressways have been constructed in the last few years and destinations as far away as Beijing and Shanghai can be reached on an overnight trip.
Hankou's long distance bus station can be found on Jiefang Dadao (解放大道). In Wuchang the station is on Wuluo Lu ( 武珞路), northeast of the railway station.
Jianghan Road is very popular in Wuhan. It is longer in total (One hundred seventy-seven meters) than the famous Nanjing Road in Shanghai.
