Serving up authentic Italian cuisine in the most romantic and exquisite of settings, Angelini is easily one of the best Italian restaurants in town. With amazing views of Victoria Harbour and tantalizingly bona fide Italian grub on offer, la dolce vita (the sweet life, for those non-Italian speakers out there) is within reach. With sleek custom-built window fins accentuating the spectacular views and bringing in natural light, the setting is truly picture-perfect. A wood veneer ceiling is bejewelled with opulent Murano glass pendant lights. The interior is filled with cherry wood wine racks and marble top teakwood tables - you can almost see the Godfather sitting over in the corner as this is a place he would surely approve of.
With Italian born and bred chef Massimo Larossi at the helm, the food is as close to home-made Italian cuisine as one can find in Hong Kong. Furthermore, from now until August 27 diners can indulge in the special set dinner entitled ‘Dining with Puccini,’ inspired by the Italian composer Giacomo Puccini. Priced at only HK$480 per person, the four-course set includes Tuscany imports such as ‘Baby Octopus and Cannelloni White Beans Salad’, ‘Pappardelle Flat Pasta with Stewed Wild Boar Sauce’, ‘Oven Roasted Guinea Fowl Puccini Style’, and more. Every table of six or more also receives a complimentary Puccini apéritif and a bottle of Angelini olive oil. Mama Mia! What are you waiting for?
