HK Clubbing
This is a cool bilingual site dedicated to nightlife in Hong Kong. Put quite simply, it is the definitive online guide to clubs, bars, and gigs in Hong Kong. There is up-to-date news about the latest events, openings and special nights around town. Sections include an informative calendar; listings of bars and clubs in Hong Kong; a news section split into categories such as nightlife, entertainment and food and beverage news; and a photo page so you can check how pretty you were when you went out that one night in Hong Kong.
Eat Drink Hong Kong
If you’re hungry in Hong Kong this is the site to go to. This page lists most of the restaurants and a few bars and retail stores in Hong Kong. Although the site is not updated too often it is still the best online Hong Kong restaurant-listing page. There are some reviews, but the main appeal is the huge inventory of places to eat and drink. Outlets are nicely categorised into alphabetical order, districts, and even cuisine. There are also various maps showing the location for the majority of the restaurants.
Centamap
Although a Hong Kong property agent runs this site, it is the best online map of Hong Kong there is. Beating Google and the Yellow Pages maps hands down, this site lets you search by road, building number and name, or even district - if you’re not sure of where you are. You can zoom in or out by 12 different ratios, but if English is your preference just make sure you click the small icon to translate the page into English otherwise you’ll be lost in a wall of incomprehensible code.
Yellow Pages Hong Kong
This is self-explanatory really. It is the online site of the Hong Kong yellow pages with listings of just about every building, shop and business in Hong Kong. But the site provides more than you would expect with editorial articles on sightseeing, maps, virtual photo tours of Hong Kong, dining and accommodation tips, and even YP discount coupons.
