Although most of Hong Kong Disneyland can be done in a day, if you did want to stay in the heart of magic a little while longer and take advantage of the stunning island location, there are two themed hotels in the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort – Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Hollywood Hotel. As a hotel guest, parking availability is guaranteed for the duration of your stay and you can be sure you’ll see Mickey and Minne somewhere.
Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel
The Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is the more luxurious of the two accommodations, with the five-star hotel decked out in elegant Victorian styling. However, despite the classiness and flamboyance, Disney’s lovable friends are still not too far away as one can don a pair of refined Mickey Mouse slippers or utilize the bathroom shower package featuring Snow White and the seven dwarfs. Furthermore, the hotel also provides additional caring services such as a bedtime story and even a morning wakeup call by the squeaky mouse himself. Theatricality is the name of the game here; with a live band in the evenings, an ultra-fun outdoor maze, a swimming pool complete with slides, and even an out-sourced spa - the Victorian Spa by Paua.
Disney’s Hollywood Hotel
Slightly more plebeian, Disney’s four-star hotel Hollywood Hotel features an more toned-down art-deco architectural concept. The design is a mix of Planet Hollywood and ’Micktorian’ styles. The hotel aptly manages to pertain to both adult and children, with enough entertainment and fun for the kids, and enough surrounding greenery and 1930’s styling to cater for the mature adults. There are over 600 guest rooms available, but booking early is advised because the rooms with views of the park (and the nightly fireworks) get booked quicker.
