35 yuan per person Construction of the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall began in the 6th century and was later overhauled and rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty. 110km Northeast of Beijing Built during the Ming Dynasty, Simatai hasn’t been renovated in recent history. It is known for being a harder climb than some of the other sections. Steep inclines and high winds test visitors on the hike from one watchtower to the next.

Apr 1 – Oct 31: 45 yuan, Nov 1 – Mar 31: 40 yuan Due to its position as a link to Beijing, Juyongguan Pass was one of the most strategically important parts of the Great Wall of China. Originally constructed during the fifth century, it was later rebuilt during the Ming dynasty. Juyongguan was neglected during the Qing Dynasty, but has since been renovated and opened to the public.
