Dalian Railway Station (大连站) is located in the centre of the city and is easily accessible by bus or taxi. The station is not as big as other major stations across China and it is relatively clean.
Even though Dalian is linked to the national railway system, the city only has direct trains to Beijing and most major cities in northeast China, including Changchun, Shenyang, Qiqihar, and Harbin. For destinations in southern and western China, travellers will have to transfer via Beijing.
The following buses all stop at the Railway Station: no.31 (Zhongdianzhan), no.524 (Zhongshan Sq.), no.602, no.512, no.522 (to/from Fu Min Xiao Qu), no.1 (to/from Tie Lu Liao Yang Yuan), no.516 (to/from Qing Gong Xue Yuan), no.408 (to/from Gan Jing Zi) and no.101 (to/from Malan Sq.)
