About me:

Hey! This is  Lisa!  A  professional, responsable, reliable ,pretty, funny and  humour  girl! II graduated in a language school in Xi' an which is famous for Terra Cotta Warriors ! I am majoring in English and Japanese ,but i speak a little  bit Germany , French and Spanish as well! Xi'an is an old city with history of more than 3000 years ,but Shanghai is a new, modern ,vibrant and young city with history only hundreds years. But both of them are famous in China, As Xi'an stands for the past of China, Shanghai stands for China in the future.

After i graduated from university, i come to Shanghai and chose guide/interpreter as my career because i like travel and making new friends .I like to share travel experiences with my guests and friends ,especially when we got the same points! As i have a good personality ,always keep smiling to people, and happily towards to the life ,so i always full with passion and enthusiasm to bring my guide &interpreter services to my dear guests! During my 5 years stay and work in Shanghai, i love this city so much as i  also met many good friends both at home and abroad!

As i often travel alone around China , so i deeply understand that when people  travel to a new city or country ,even if they has checked and prepared enough  but still has a bit worried. I still remembered that one of my American guests once said to me '' Lisa, without your help ,i couldn't survive in Shanghai as i don't know anybody,do not speak your language ,don't know how to order food, the water is different from......but i am definitely come back  to Shanghai ,and visit your country again!" I am glad to bring my good service to my guests and always being  happy & nice  to hear warm and kind words from them as it always encourage me to work more  hard and try my best to take care of my next guest again.

Some of my guests only have one or two days exploring Shanghai ,so before they arrive in Shanghai, we has already  went  through emails  to make sure that i can organize everything and make sure that  they can visit as much places as they can ,and give them  a good impression of this city! As a private  tour guide: Except Shanghai , my tour  also include Suzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi, Zhouzhang ,Tongli and other cities and water villages around Shanghai and China!

As a professional interpreter & business assistant:1. be able to visit trade show/ fair, exhibition centers 2 Helping clients to source companies /distributors/manufecturers 3.be able to set up a new company and office 4. Organizing business meetings. 5.be able to visit factories with clients and contact with suppliers. If you are interested in both of my services, please feel free to contact me,and don't hesitate to send me emails or give me a call . You will find i am the right person who you're looking for ! Wish all of you  have a pleasant trip!

Lisa's been working as my English to Chinese interpreter for several years now. I have hired several interpreter in China over the years but Lisa is the best of them all. She's been to several parts of China with me, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, etc, because I would rather hire her to other cities than to take a chance with other interpreters. She may not know all there is too know in terms of business situations but she is able to adapt and learn quickly. She is also able to understand and relate to western mentality which makes that much easier to communicate with her. I highly recommend Lisa.

Thanks Lisa for helping Paula and I visit Nanjing after landing in Shanghai.  Your advice on how much time to allot for travelling to and from Nanjing, along with your knowledge of Shanghai and Nanjing was key to our having a great visit.  I was so awestruck by the Nanjing Memorial to the Massacre Victims that I forgot to take pictures.  Nevertheless, that is one of the most powerful museums/memorial that I have ever visited.

My only regret is that I didn't schedule another day so that we could have visited your favorite tea house with you.  The way that you sheparded us through the Shanghai subway system and the Railway to Nanjing was great leadership and really helped us to have a great experience with city life in China.  Your sharing your deep knowledge of Chinese history, and the state of China today really gave us perspectives that we would not have gotten with just the escort on our subsequent Yangzi River cruise.

Thank you.
