Close to the city center and featuring 368 hectares of water and 104 hectares of land, Xuanwu Lake Park is a favourite getaway for locals.  Well before the sunrise and even after sunset, the park is bustling with visitors. Some come to walk, jog, or fly kites, others to practice Tai Chi, and many more just want to enjoy the scenery

This is the residence where the great hero Mao Zedong had lived on his ninth trip to Shanghai from February 1924 till the year end. It is the only Mao's residence open to the public in Shanghai, covering an area of 520 square meters. On the first floor is the key exhibition on Mao's working and living in Shanghai at that time.

  Rich in cultural and biological diversity, the Lashi Lake watershed is home to two minority ethnic groups, the Naxi and the Yi, and provides critical habitat for the endangered black-necked crane. The watershed is also the primary water supply to a large downstream population and the rapidly growing tourism industry in the historic city of Lijiang.

Housing two spacious rehearsal halls set in an expansive building covering an area of 15,000 sq. meters. This modern theater has been home to many opera companies over the years. Currently this performance space serves as a cultural center for both artists and their opera enthusiasts.
