Simply put, Peter’s Tex-Mex Grill is the destination to satisfy your craving for tacos, burritos, enchiladas, 9-layer dips, and other Mexican style cuisine. A pair of enormous 6 inch tacos cost only Y22. Pizzas and other more standard American dishes are available, but the Tex-Mex style dishes are highly recommended. Dishes range from Y15-60. The atmosphere is relatively plain except for an assortment of Mexican style decorations. Discount cards are available for frequent customers, and one other aspect that sets the restaurant apart from others in China: there is no smoking inside and the rule is actually enforced.
Directions: Peter’s is on Kehua Beilu in the southeast part of town, next to Sichuan University’s West Gate and down the street from Grandma’s Kitchen. Bus nos. 6, 49, 55, and 110 pass by the restaurant on Kehua Beilu.
