Chengdu Nightlife

Many travelers passing through Chengdu plan to stay 2-3 days, but end up staying much longer due to Chengdu’s non-stop nightlife. Pricey clubs such as Babi and Castle are generally packed until at least 3 AM every day of the week. Bars such as Carol’s and the Shamrock offer a mix of Westerners and Chinese dancing and drinking the night away to an equally variant mix of music. Others prefer the more affordable, relaxing settings of the Hemp House, Dave’s Oasis, Little Bar, or Le Cafe Paname which all attract a mix of Chengdu residents, young and old, Chinese and Western.
