Side Trips from Beijing

Some of Beijing’s most famous attractions actually lie outside the city.  These include the Thirteen Ming Tombs, the Qing Tombs, and several sections of The Great Wall of China.

Arranging transportation in the areas around Beijing can be a hassle to say the least.  The simplest ways to get to where you want to go without spending too much are to go with a tour group or use one of the Beijing tourist buses.
