Utels-Stayokay Youth Hostel Beijing is perfectly located in the centre of the flourishing Wanfujing shopping district, behind the Beijing Taiwan Hotel in the proximity of the Novotel Hotel. It's just a short walk to the Forbidden City and Beijing's Tiananmen Square is also only a few minutes away. From the Beijing Railway Station it's a 5 minute cab ride or a 15 minute walk.

Having opened in 2007, the hostel offers 47 spacious guest rooms with shared bathrooms. Each one of the hostel's guest rooms is equipped with comfortable beds and cozy sofas. In order to make the stay even more comfortablefor our western guests, we have installed WESTERN toilets in our bathrooms! Utels-Stayokay Youth Hostel is now unquestionably the premier hostel in Beijing for lower budget travelers and backpackers.

We would like to invite you to our restaurant, which offers a variety of western dishes and the best of the tasty, original Chinese cuisine.
In the evening, our brand traveler's bar gives you a good opportunity to meet other people in a warm atmosphere or just to relax and get away from it all, enjoying a cool beer.
In order to get from the airport to the hostel without a hassle, we provide a very reliable airport pick-up service taking you all the way to the hostel's doorsteps.

Around the hostel you can find everything that you may need during your stay. Fashion boutiques, jewelry shops, hair stylists and beauty salons, massage salons, men's fashion and sports wear shops, hospitals, doctors' and dentists' offices, pharmacies, opticians, bookstores (offering the biggest selection of foreign language books in town) and souvenir shops - everything less than a 5 minute walk away. There is also an abundance of western food outlets like Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonalds, Subway, Starbucks, pizzerias & cafes found in the vincinity.
Even closer to the hostel is a post office and a Bank of China office, which makes changing money, withdrawing cash or sending home a good old propper letter very easy and convenient.
It's only 2 minutes to the famous Dong Hua Men Specialty Night Food Market - recommended by the Lonely Planet and definitely worth a visit.

For a booking during the 2008 Olympic Games, the following pre-payments must take place: 10% of the total cost of the booking - including the deposit taken by the website company - must be paid at the time of the booking. The remaining amount (90% of the total cost of your reservation) must be paid before 1 Mar 2008 at the latest. Cancellation policy: 50% of the total value of the reservation will be charged if the cancellation takes place before 1 Mar 2008. From 2 Mar 2008 onwards, the full amount of reservation value will be charged.
