Pura Kehen has a long history which last for eleven centuries. It consists of eight terraces and it is turned towards the sun. This temple is the temple of the fire and Brahmen protects the temple. 38 steps climb towards the entrance while guardian statues follow these steps. The guardian statues are in fact wayang characters from Ramayana story.

Puri Saren Agung is located in the center of the ancient town Ubud. It was founded by Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel in early nineteenth century. The majority of this really beautiful temple is built after a strong earthquake in the early twentieth century and the royal family still lives here. This temple is home to dance events, spacious beautifully decorated gardens and precious carved wood.
