Manager Review

Sophia Kidd has been drowning in Mandarin Chinese for 7 years.  One time, while she was pushed down to this deep ocean floor by a big tidal wave, tumbling and thrashing for air, her fingers brushed against some strange old manuscripts carved into stone. She’s been living in Jinan ever since, studying these manuscripts, which she managed to hoist up when a cool current pushed her back up to the water’s surface.

Sophia’s journalism and marketing background make her well suited to present Jinan to both tourists and business persons alike. She keeps one eye on classical Chinese studies and the other on the bizarre, yet profitable nature of existence in modern Jinan. In this way, Sophia walks around cross-eyed - teaching English to locals, translating for and assimilating non-locals, and last, but not least, writing.
