Leslie Clary hails from the United States. Born in Ohio, she spent several years traveling around the country and in Mexico before settling in California where she married and raised two children. Leslie arrived in China two years ago. She has a B.A. in Community Studies from the University of California and a M.A. in English from University of Nevada. She currently teaches English and American literature at Hainan University and moonlights as a freelance journalist.
While Leslie speaks Spanish, her Chinese is far from perfect. Nevertheless, she has fallen in love with China and living on Hainan Island. She enjoys good company, good wine and new experiences. While the wine is sometimes questionable, China definitely offers the other two.
