Ethan Olson hails from beautiful Minnesota, U.S.A, but has been living in Shenyang since fall 2004. Ethan graduated from St. John’s University in Minnesota in 2004, with a B.A. in Political Science, and it was only a matter of months before he headed off to the Far East. Not quite knowing what to expect, Ethan found himself both teaching English and studying Chinese at Northeastern University in Shenyang, where he stayed for two years. He’s now busy teaching English at a language training school, and scouring Shenyang for cool things to post on Synotrip.
Ethan is looking forward to the next hockey season and also working on his below average bowling skill. If he's not teaching English you can find him hanging out in one of Shenyang's pubs, the bowling alley, or the hockey rink.
