Dave is 55 and a semi-retired Social/Adoption worker from Saskatchewan, Canada. He and his wife live in the Jimei area (outside of Xiamen) where they teach English. His 20 year old son, Andrew, is studying Mandarin at Xiamen University this year. In 2000-2001 they taught at Yang-en University in Quanzhou, China.
Dave says "We enjoy the people and atmosphere of China, not to mention the climate. I enjoy photography, movies, exploring new things and reading. My wife and I have committed ourselves to living here for at least one more year."
