Caroline Richardson has a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Art History from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.  Her graduate studies in Historic Architecture and Preservation brought her to another city in the American south, Lexington, Kentucky, where she spent a year and a half working on her degree. Her last semester of school was spent in Tokyo, concentrating on Japanese Urban Preservation in Tokyo and Kyoto.  Despite her studies in the American south, Caroline is originally from Seattle on the Northwest coast. Her interest in travel and Asian culture brought her to Shanghai, which she believes is currently the most exciting place to be in the entire world.
