There are many bars along Jianshe Dadao Avenue(汉口建设大道) in Hankou.  Upper and middle class people generally hang out in these bars, which are artistically well decorated. Jazz, blues, Latin-American music, and exotic dance performances give these bars a different feel and more relaxed and diversified atmosphere. However, drinks and food here are a bit expensive (meals 25-40 RMB, cocktails 25-50 RMB).

 

I recommend the Red Lover (Hong Se Lian Ren, 红色恋人酒吧, 建设大道600号). It is truly a very  pleasant place to enjoy an evening.
